The Yorkshire Terrier history is not something quite clear, but it is highly believed that these dogs were bred in England, in the homonymous area, after immigrant industrial workers from Scotland and Wales brought their own dogs with them. This coat is super silky and shiny, and should be of colors such as tan, black or blue.

The height of these dogs must be between 6 and 7 inches and they should not weight under 7 pounds. The Yorkshire Terrier ’s health is quite delicate since they can suffer from digestion problems, bronchitis, herniated disks and other spine issues, fragile bones, weak teeth and some bitches can even have trouble delivering. They are also better suited for warm climates.
