The Vizsla is undoubtedly one of the most impressive dogs you can ever think of. Native from Hungary, this beautiful dog stands out for its elegant and strong bearing, for its unique face expression and finally for its gorgeous color which can not be compared to any other. The Vizsla dog displays a short and soft coat which should never be left to grow more than a couple of centimeters since that is seen as a disqualification. This dog is unique in terms of its coat color since there are not too many varied tones as it happens with many dog breeds. Vizsla Colors are certainly special.
The Vizsla Colors are normally in the range of reds and mahoganies. According to the American Kennel Club standard, the coat color of the Vizsla should be solid golden rust in different tones. Reddish and mahogany tones are also accepted although white markings on the chest or above the toes are not accepted by this club. They are however accepted on the forechest but should never occupy a large part of the surface.
As for the ears, they might be a bit darker than the rest of the body but not to capture attention. The eyes of the Vizsla are of a beautiful transparent yellow or green and are without a doubt truly expressive and emotive.
