When a breeder goes to begin Breeding a pair of Tibetan Spaniels, the first step in this process is for them to go over the health history on both sides of the perspective parent's bloodlines. They will check for any diseases or health conditions which may be passed through the genes to the litter.
Once the potential breeders health history has been gone over, the female will be examined by a veterinarian to make sure that she is in good condition and will not have a problem with her pregnancy. Smaller dogs will often need a cesarean section to deliver puppies. Once the female is proven to be in sound Breeding condition, the Breeding process will begin when she comes into heat. After the puppies are born they should receive a checkup and their first vaccinations as soon as they are old enough to receive them.
