Thai Ridgeback Growth occurs mostly during the puppy stage. The Thai Ridgeback will grow a considerable amount until it reaches about 8 months of age, then it will begin to gain weight faster than it does height.
The males will grow to be considerably larger than the females and will grow to be about 23 inches in height at adulthood; they will weigh between 50 and 60 pounds. The female Thai Ridgebacks will grow to be about 21 inches tall at adulthood and weigh between 35 to 55 pounds.
If you are considering getting a Thai Ridgeback as a pet, you will want to consider their size. When you see one as a little puppy, realize that this size will be doubled in just a few months. It's easy to imagine that cute little puppy staying small, but this breed will grow quite fast during the puppy stage and the next thing you know, it will be a much bigger dog. The nice thing about this breed though, is it is not a very large breed even at adulthood. If you are looking for a medium large dog, the Thai Ridgeback fits into that category.
