Regular measurements for the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier are 18 to 20 inches of height and 35 to 45 pounds of weight. These dogs certainly need lots of exercise in order to be healthy both physically and mentally. They can be adapted to apartment life as long as they count with plenty of exercise and activities to perform. They are naturally truly healthy dogs although some inherited diseases should be prevented. Their life expectancy is usually between twelve and fifteen years which is quite a long time for most Terriers of this size.
