It is believed that many dog breeds that are native from Asia display longer Life Expectancy than those coming from Europe and this is the case of the Shih Tzu. However, this should never mean that this breed is completely healthy and that it should never be provided with health care. The truth is that the Shih Tzu can sometimes become a delicate animal that sufffers from different kidney complications, anemia, allergies and skin and eye problems.
