It is funny to see how many people consider themselves to be pet lovers when in fact they are not. To be a pet lover there are several things you have to accomplish, there are several matters you should take into consideration and there is a lot of love involved.

First of all, the idea of loving pets is not only to look at a picture of a dog or cat and smile. Pet lovers tend to be people who would die to have one at home , and if they do they think their pet is the most wonderful thing in the world .

Many couples who do not want to have children or cannot because of personal reasons are really willing to adopt a creature to replace that empty space they cannot or do not want to fill with kids.

Pet lovers do not hesitate if an animal is in danger or at risk. They take the animal home with them and provide the necessary care and protection the animal needs to get better. They may even spend a fortune at the vet in order for him to take care of the animal they found abandoned on the street .

Imagine what they would do when the animal is their own. They will not doubt spending money on him to buy him the best food available, the most fashionable collar, clothes and even spend thousands of dollars a year on toys , treats and the vet.

They may run with their pet to make them exercise, they will not question playing with them in the park, even though they may look a bit insane.

Therefore, if you comply with all or at least many of the above mentioned things you may consider yourself to be a pet lover.
