The undercoat is waterproof and protects the dog from any possible infection or allergy. The colors of the coat might go from different tones of gray, blue and white. White markings are also acceptable if distributed evenly along the entire body. You must comb it and brush it at least three times a week. You also need to cut it often to avoid any infection in the eyes or nose. These dogs are sometimes tailless. The health issues this breed may suffer from are hip dysplasia and catarats, besides of the possible hair trouble if not properly taken care of. |
