The Bul Terrier ?

Remember it is not Bul Terrier, it is Bull with two "L". We believe you write Bull, don't worry.

We will talk about this breed; Among the many different varieties of terriers this one represents the side of the bull dogs. The mixture of breeds has a definite purpose in mind, and that is the idea of creating a breed that is both good for guardian purposes as well as suitable for family situations.

The size of the dog to be considered standard has to be as high as 14 inches. The appearance should be that of a square dog and the head should resemble an oval specially in the muzzle. The teeth have to be strong and healthy and the top teeth have to be vaguely in front of the lower teeth.

The coat in the case of the this Bull Terrier is short and the colors may vary according to the breeder. You may find, pure white or white with some other color. The color should predominate in order to be accepted within standards.

The temperament of this breed should be even but active. This dog is supposed to be full of energy, and therefore the temper tends to be quite dynamic. They are brave and do not fear to face strangers when necessary. Something to bear in mind in the case of the Miniature Bull Terrier is that if they are not properly trained they may turn out to be rather stubborn, resulting in uncontrollable behavior.

As they are so active and energetic, these dogs require a lot of exercise and routine programs to keep them fit and to organize their daily routines. If they do not get the exercise or training they need, they may start to destroy everything they fond in your house, or they may turn to chewing small objects they can eventually swallow.

They need space, and they may eventually need a yard where to run, exercise or just play when they feel like it.

Concerning health, this dog tends to suffer from many different diseases. Some of them can be prevented and some others are more difficult to spot on time. For this reason, it is important to consult with your vet and to get a birth certificate from the kennel where you bought it to make sure you have been informed of any congenital disease the dog may have.

The most common problems are kidney disease, lens luxations, eclampsia and hypocalcemia, which may appear in the format of fever at first and more complicated situations later on.
