Marvel Names

Marvel Comics is one of the most famous comic books in America and the one that has created lots of hits and successes that come to present with a very big and wide popularity base.

Next to DC Comics this company has ever since the 1960’s designed superheroes stories that are glued to every comic fan’s minds. Among his most important creations we can find Spiderman, The Incredible Hulk, Iron man, The Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Captain America, and the most recent X-men.

All of these characters have gained so much popularity that their stories were taken from comic books to animated cartoons and even movies, being the ones dedicated to Spiderman and the X-men among the most watched movies of all times.

It is believed that every little character that Marvel created lives in the same world and even though they are not often seen together, this situation is referred to as The Marvel Universe or Multiverse in which they all inhabit and perhaps one day will actually share their experiences together. However, the Marvel Universe is not a fantasy one and therefore shares all the same geographical names and events as the real world, while some unrealistic ones are added to it.

It is also believed that the superpowers that the Marvel superheroes possess have been passed for ages and ages, from generation to generation after the experimentation that celestial forces and creatures forced in our ancestors. Of course, there are good superheroes that defend the Earth and humankind from possible threats and menaces, and evil superheroes that use their powers in a desperate attempt to destroy human kind and all that it relies on it.

Of course, we always see the plot that is underlying the action and adventure: superheroes are individuals that have to deal with the possession of inhuman abilities that may put them up or down regular human beings.   It is impossible to mention the totality of the characters that Marvel Comics has created along fifty years, but we can definitely mention some that are truly significant and that still remain as the most important superheroes of all time.
