Among the latest and most popular TV series America has released we can find one that has equal amounts of intrigue, suspense, adventure, drama, thriller, action and even some spots of humor. We are referring to Lost, the TV drama show that, first broadcasted in 2004 and currently airing its third season, portrays the life of a bunch of people that are strangers to each other but has one thing in common: they have all been the victims and survivors of a plane crash and are all suddenly located on a mysterious and distant from society island.
 
This interesting story occurs and develops through the present and past experiences of each member and character, all of whom have a secret and perhaps dark previous life that is now left behind in the scope of the start of a new life that no one knows how long will it last. However, the main focus of Lost is put on the notion that all that we have done in the past has consequences in the present and in the future, and this is why, as we watch episodes goes by, the previous lives of each character has definitely something to do with the reason why they are on that island, apart from the fact that all of them have crossed in each others lives without actually knowing it.

Almost completely filmed in natural settings, mainly Hawaiian island Oahu, this TV series has grown in popularity as stories develop and as mysteries are progressively unmasked. The richness of characters, however, provides little answers to the general question of why are they on that island and this is because while the search for the truth happens, spectators also are set to known every character’s dark past, a past that in one way or another has direct links with what is happening on the island. We believe that the most intriguing and attractive feature of this TV series is the fact that every survivor has different defects and weakness represented by social subjects such as drug addiction, robbery, fraud, lack of interest for living, rejection from society, torture, complications on daily relationships, fear and violence. These subjects appear all combined as stories develop and as we watch characters grow in intensity.
