looney Tunes Names

There are many names for dogs, but in this case we think about Looney Tune names, before give you the complete list, we will talk about Looney Tune.

There are a few animated cartoons that can claim the title of “eternal”. Looney Tunes, along with Mickey Mouse and The Simpsons are among those few and this is simply because they entertained (and still do) lots of kids, young people and even adults of different generations with their style of humor.   Looney Tunes is one of the oldest animated cartoons, aired for the first time in the decade of 1930 by the Warner Brothers Company.

Thirteen years after their first appearance they were produced in color. The original reason why these cartoons (and other known as Merrie Melodies) were created had to do with the promotion of the music that the Warner Bros. company had recently acquired with the ownership of Brunswick Records. Both of these animated shows were therefore born out of this interest, but Looney Tunes became surprisingly successful and then gained its independence. With trademarks such as the beginning credits which appear in front of a number of circles that act as a curtain, and the ultra famous ending phrase “That’s All Folks!”, the Looney Tunes are clear representative of a specific time in the twentieth century. This gave the show some negative critics along the years since the image the show made about ethnic issues and violence are now considered inappropriate but were product of an era.

While its most famous character, Bugs Bunny, was first created in the second decade of the show (around 1940), the first character that the Looney Tunes incorporated, named Bosko, was quickly forgotten and then replaced. In the 1940’s the majority of the most acclaimed characters were created and added to the existing list that was therefore modified. Looney Tunes were produced till 1969 but they are still aired in some channels. In the latest decades, some of the characters were modernized and some new ones were added allowing this fantastic and humorous cartoon to still catch the attention and approbation of tons of kids and adults.
