Komondor Growth

A beautiful and unique breed of the dog, the Komondor is a breed that was originally bred solely for use as a flock guardian. Now a popular family pet, Komondors are a highly adaptable breed but may need some special requirements to ensure full and proper Komondor Growth.

As a large dog with an amazingly distinctive coat, the Komondor can stand up to 27 inches tall at the withers when fully grown. Due to this characteristic, a large amount of space is required if a Komondor is to be kept as a pet. A large, open garden where the Komondor is allowed to roam freely should be available as well as an extremely large space within the house.

A high quality diet, well balanced and full of natural vitamins should be provided to the Komondor to ensure the best possible Growth. It has to be noted that due to the Komondor's extreme size - not only can they grow to 27 inches tall, but they can weigh close to 100 pounds as a fully grown Komondor adult - they can eat massive amounts of food on a weekly basis which can be very costly.
