Italian Greyhound Growth

The Italian Greyhound is a very small breed dog, with the average height of an Italian Greyhound being 13 to 15 inches and weighing a mere 8 pounds. Italian Greyhound Growth can be slow from a puppy and as they are a small breed of dog, large and noticeable height changes will rarely occur.

From a young age, the Italian Greyhound should be fed a very healthy diet to ensure that it grows to its maximum height and keeps itself in good health, both physically and mentally. As well as a healthy diet, regular exercise is also a highly recommended for the Italian Greyhound. This regular exercise, as well as the healthy diet, work simultaneously to keep the Italian Greyhound's bones and muscles in full strength and strong, helping the Italian Greyhound grow to its potential height.

Even though the Italian Greyhound it's a very small breed of dog and will not grow tall, they will often confront other animals on occasion. However, this isn't a regular occurrence as they are a breed of dog that can be intimated easily and at times can become scared.
