Easily recognizable for its curly hair which is a mix of both Golden Retriever and Poodle elements, the Goldendoodle immediately becomes an adorable and wonderful dog to have around. One of the most important things to know is how to groom this dog's unique coat since the hair is abundant and if not properly cared could easily lead into health complications.
The Goldendoodle is completely covered in this abundant and dense coat. After you have properly cleaned it and brushed it with the correspondant elements, you will need to trim it periodically (once a week or twice a month) in order to prevent the hair to grow in delicate areas. You must take good care that the hair around the eyes, the ears and the area below the tail are safe, clean and fresh. Then you will also need to trim your Goldendoodle's nails and also trim the hair between each pad.
The Goldendoodle also features a nice and funny beard which should be long enough to be considered a unique detail but not to be impressively long and dirty. Trimming it periodically as well is of extreme importance. Finally, you will also need to brush your dog's teeth if you want it to be completely safe, healthy and beautiful.
