The German Pinscher can be easily confused with the Doberman for its similar appearance. Nevertheless, there are many elements that can transform the first one into a completely distinctive and unique dog and in this sense elements related to numbers such as its Size are some of them. The German Pinscher Size is what makes of this animal a amazing and adorable friend and being aware of these things is always important in order to know if you are getting a purebred dog or not.
According to the official numbers and measurements given by the most important dog associations, the German Pinscher should measure around sixteen to nineteen inches of height and between 25 to 35 pounds of weight. There are no further specifications depending on the sex of the animal but female dogs are always considered to be a bit smaller than male dogs.
The German Pinscher is therefore smaller than the Doberman although it is a medium sized dog. It is important to keep in mind that you should always provide your German Pinscher with the proper amount of exercise (which is always quite a lot of it!) and with the correct nutrition in order to make it grow stronger and healthier.
