The beauty of the English Springer Spaniel is not only external but also, and perhaps especially, internal. These dogs feature a fantastic Temperament that has made them famous as gentle and noble dogs. Like most gund dog breeds, the English Springer Spaniel is devoted to its master and ready to obbey any order. Of course, previous and thorough training is required but another characteristic of this dog is that it will always make of the training process a wonderful experience due to its response, its commitment and loyalty.
Besides that, the English Springer Spaniel also features a truly loving Temperament that means this is a great family dog. They will always get along fantastically with children and even with other dogs (if socialized with them since puppyhood). Even though being guardian dogs is not their main task, they can sometimes naturally assume that responsibility and defend its family from any possible danger.
However, the English Springer Spaniel can from time to time become a little bit stubborn and this is when you need to make sure to provide it with firm and defined rules to obbey. They do have a level of independency in their Temperament and making them understand you are the master is always important.
