English Shepherd Weight

Depending on the sex of the breed, English Shepherd Weight varies around 10 pounds, with the male being the heavier English Shepherd. A male English Shepherd should weigh between 45 to 60 pounds (21 to 28 kg), whilst a female English Shepherd should carry Weight of between 40 to 50 pounds (18 to 23 kg).

The Weight of the English Shepherd breed can be kept under control by feeding the dog a well balanced diet and providing regular exercise. A well balanced diet should be given to the English Shepherd to keep their Weight in between the normal Weight class, as well as helping to keep any health problems at a minimum.

The diet that most owners feed their English Shepherd usually consists of fresh meat and a natural ingredient, such as brown rice or wholegrain wheat. This provides the English Shepherd with a vast amount of energy and protein, ensuring they can exercise effectively at their required levels.

As the English Shepherd is a very energetic breed of dog, regular daily exercise is required. This is a fantastic way to keep the English Shepherds Weight at a healthy level and as the breed enjoys exercise so extensively, it is never an issue taking them for a long walk on a daily basis.
