An English Cocker Spaniel Life Expectancy is between 12 and 15 years. They live longer lives than some other breeds, but there are some things that you will want to do to try to give them the longest Life they can possibly have.
You will want to make sure that you take your dog to a yearly veterinarian checkup. This way the veterinarian can make sure your dog is staying in good health and your dog will receive its annual vaccinations at the same time. This prevents your English Cocker Spaniel from catching many illnesses which would significantly shorten its Life.
The English Cocker Spaniel is an active dog which requires daily exercise. You will want to be sure to take your dog on at least one good length walk a day and allow them outside play. The only major health concerns which the English Cocker Spaniel is seen to suffer from a lot, is ear infections. So, you will want to be sure to do weekly checks of your dog's ears. If your dog shows any signs of an ear infection you should take it to the vet right away.
