Do you use a reward system? With food or another form of communication? Treats especially for puppies (takes 17 reps before learning a new command) and then praise. Petting doesn’t always work because they get pet a lot and it might be confusing.
In your opinion what is the most obedient breed? Depends on the dog. Small breeds tend to be more difficult.

In the case of a dog what are the system requirements? That he or she use the bathroom outside, that he or she refrain from biting people, that he or she retrieval, guide, find, and protect. We could say that the goal is to get them to perform useful and positive skills that integrate them into the lives of the people around them. That is exactly what Misha Hanewinckel does in Utah. An owner of two Golden Retrievers, Misha is dog trainer who specializes in “Positive Reinforcement Training.” She has always loved dogs and has been training dogs for many Years
Misha is of the opinion that the earlier that the training is started the better. Puppies like children are more receptive to new commands and structure than older dogs. When asked about the difficulty in training specific kinds of dogs, Hanewinckel replies, “It takes a lot of patience and time.” She says that smaller dogs can be more difficult to train because at times they are not treated very much like dogs (they are carried, and they sit on laps, and are coddled.
