Irish Setter Information

Just like its name says it, the Irish Setter is native from the beautiful island of Ireland. These dogs were originally bred as hunting and retrieving dogs and nowadays they are fabulous companions. Having a life expectancy of around eleven to fifteen years, the Irish Setter is easily recognizable for its luxurious coat which is of medium length and of deep shine and beauty. This coat is usually available in different tones of red. The Irish Setter is long and thin, featuring and elegant body and a truly active attitude.
