The Brittany is one of the most popular gun dog breeds. Native from the homonymous French province, this dog usually measures 17 to 21 inches and weights between 35 to 40 pounds of weight. It is a truly energetic dog that requires daily exercise and activities, preferably outdoors. They have a medium sized body with strong muzzles and square shaped heads. The ears are pendant to the sides of the head while the eyes are transparent and the nose can be black or red depending on the coat coloration.
