With a variety of different names, from Fu Dogs to Imperial Guardian Lions, Chinese Foo Dogs are a highly respected breed of Dog. Although not widely popular in the Western world, they are bred outside of China and the average Chinese Foo Dog Life Expectancy is approximately 10 years.
To prolong Chinese Foo Dog Life Expectancy to its maximum level, a high quality, well balanced diet must be fed to the breed to ensure optimum health is maintained. Each Chinese Foo Dog owner has their own preferred diet to feed to their Dog and it can vary quite considerably. Whilst some Chinese Foo Dog owners feed their breed on a high quality, wet Dog food with some additional kibble, many owners provide their Chinese Foo Dog with fresh meat, most commonly chicken, with organic vegetables and a natural ingredient such as brown rice.
