When you are Grooming your Borzoi, you will want to follow the natural lines of their fur growth. You will only want to trim their fur; making sure to blend it well so that is doesn't appear choppy. Your Borzoi shouldn't need trimming more than about once every six weeks. You won't need to use clippers on your Borzoi, blending scissors should be all you need. You will also want to brush your Borzoi about twice a week.
If you take your Borzoi to a professional groomer to be groomed, you will want to specify whether you want them to keep their whiskers or not, this is a personal choice. You also want to make sure the groomer doesn't use clippers on your Borzoi's muzzle. This will leave them with lines and marks on their muzzle.
