If you are getting a Bishon Frise, you will want to learn about every aspect of the breed. This includes learning all that you can about Bichon Frise Ears. They have small Ears which are located high on the sides of their head. Their Ears hang over in the front and perk upward when they are listening to something.
You will want to clean the excess hair out of your Bishon Frises Ears on a somewhat regular basis. If you don't feel comfortable doing this then you can have the groomer do it for you. If you don't know what you are doing then you can end up causing your dog pain.
Bishon Frises need to have their Ears checked often for stickers and burrs. Their hair can cause these to become attached and they can work their way down into your dog's Ears, this will cause your dog to have problems. If your dog shows any signs of an ear infection then you will want to take them into the vet, they may need to be put on antibiotics to clear up the infection.
