If you are trying to find out everything that you can about the Anatolian, you may be curious about what goes into the Anatolian Breeding process. It can actually be a lot more complicated than most people realize. Much time and effort goes into Breeding a healthy litter, taking care of that litter, and finding quality homes for all of the puppies once they are old enough to leave their mother.
One of the first things a breeder must do is to determine which two dogs would produce puppies with good qualities that will be healthy. They also research the bloodline to lessen the chance of having an unhealthy puppy.
Then the mother needs to be checked by a vet to make sure she is in the proper health to carry a litter. Once the Breeding is done then the mother needs to be properly cared for. The breeder will also announce the litter so they can take deposits for the puppies. Once the litter arrives, the puppies must be cared for and receive their first check up and vaccinations. Then, when they are of age they will go to their new homes.
