If you are planning on getting yourself an American Eskimo then you will want to know about the breed. You may be curious about the Colors of an American Eskimo. The American Eskimo Colors are very simple, they come in solid white. They have a long beautiful coat of pure white fur and they often get referred to as "cotton balls".
Their white fur makes their other Colors stand out, this means that their little black noses, brown eyes, and pink ears and tongue stand out to give them the appearance of a little pure white teddy bear. They are the shade of white which looks like a blanket of snow. They are not known for having any other Colors on them.
If they do have other Colors on them then this can signify a mixing of the breed somewhere down their blood lines. An American Eskimo should be as pure white as the driven snow. They need regular brushing to avoid having their fur get tangled, it is quite long and will tangle easily if not properly groomed and maintained.
